As I said on Friday, I worked all day. Saturday I ran some errands and did a few things around the house with the girls and then had date night with my husband. My in-laws were kind enough to watch the girls that evening, so we could go to dinner and out for drinks. We went to a place that specializes in peel and eat shrimp/crawfish. We went there once with the girls and it was a disaster because one would fuss and you can get your hands dirty and keep giving them their pacis. So my husband peeled almost all my shrimp that time. This time, I was able to get my hands dirty.

I will spare you the photo of myself as I realized how tiny I looked. I really need to get back to the gym to get some muscle and tone back. Wow.
We even splurged on dessert. Green tea panna cotta. I usually don't like custard-y types of desserts due to the texture, but this one was really good.
After dinner we headed to Z Bar for some specialty cocktails. So good and very relaxing. We called it a night at 9 pm (I know, oldies) so we could put our babies to sleep and get some rest ourselves.
Sunday we went to Graeagle for the afternoon. Graeagle is about an hour and 15 minutes away in California, but makes for the perfect day trip. We stopped at Bread and Butter for some delicious HUGE sandwiches for lunch and proceeded onto the Brewing Lair for some relaxation and beers. Of course I had to pump in the car, so we could feed the girls and I could enjoy a beer after. The girls did very well and enjoyed the vitamin d.

The girls did so great on our little trip. Let's hope the same goes at the end of the month when we go to the Bay Area to pick up a couch and see some family.
Sunday evening we just relaxed and enjoyed the last bits of the weekend.
How was your weekend?
