What We Have Been Up To

Not a whole lot has happened in the last month, but we did do a few things. I had surgery, went to a baby shower, went to a birthday party, a basketball game, two days of distance learning (due to snow days), a few dinners out, a magic show and a overnight trip to Las Vegas. But I mostly have been healing and recovering from an infection.

I thought I would give a little photo dump of what we have been up to. I do have a post planned showing my healing progress over the last few weeks. That should be coming in a week or so.

Baby Shower:

The baby shower was catered and it was so good. I was about 9 days post op (in the thick of my infection) so I took it easy and enjoyed the food and sitting. By the end I was so worn out and tired.

We had two days of distance learning which was awful when one person is recovering and working from home. I had to resign the girls in every 40 minutes, help with school work and rest. It was chaos, but we made it through.

A fire truck themed birthday party! With a real fire truck and demo.

The magic show. This show is a magic show combined with a dance show. We really want to take the girls to this. Some of the costumes are a bit risky, but nothing that they wouldn't see at a beach.

And that is what we have been up to. I can't wait to catch up with you all more.

I am finally starting to feel like myself again. I haven't had the energy to do much and the days that I have, I have definitely overdone it. So I am trying to take it easy. I am also trying to catch up on blog reading and comments. Anyways, I am late to this post, but here is my prime purchases for February.

So what did I purchase?
Muslin Burp Cloths

This was a baby shower gift.

iRobot Replacement Parts

I got these since the other ones that I purchased were not working right. Always buy the actual recommended parts for your iRobot. These are amazing.

This a repurchase. I love this lotion. I purchased it and then found it in a two pack at Costco for even cheaper, but kept this one as well since we go through this stuff in my house quickly.

Burts Bees Lip Shine

This was part of a birthday gift since the girl loves to dress up and put on makeup.

Baby Bow Headbands

This was another part of the baby shower gift. I just thought these bows were so cute.

12 inch Lazy Susan Organizer

So after my air fryer was recalled, I decided to replace mine with an air fryer toaster oven and needed more space on my counter tops. I thought this was a good idea and it turns out it worked very well. I didn't put in the dividers but I kept them for later. The bowl is of high quality and looks beautiful.

Baby Swaddles

This was the last part of the baby shower gift that I got for my cousin.

Essential Pet Probiotics

This is another repurchase and the only probiotic we get for Walter.

Biotin

This is a repurchase. After finishing my other bottle, I reordered this again. My hairstylist said my hair is looking great and healthy.

Lego Sailing Set

This was part of the birthday set.

Dishwashing/Cleaning Gloves

These gloves have been amazing. My hands have been torn up by the water and weather here, so I have been making a big effort to use these when I do the dishes. They work so well and have helped so much.

No Show Socks

These have been the best purchase. I have worn these a bunch since getting them. They stay on your foot, are comfortable, more affordable than the Converse ones I use, and fit so nicely. These are my favorite purchase from last month and they are on sale right now.

Long Sleeve Puff Sleeve Bodysuit

I have this body suit in a short sleeve version and I wanted it in a long sleeve version. It is beautiful, fits well and wasn't expensive.

And that is it for February's purchases. What did you buy last month?
