Happy Friday all! We are at the end of January and I feel like this month flew by. We had a lot going on each weekend. I feel like I will blink and we will be into the Summer. Or maybe I am just wishing for warmer weather again.
Anyways, onto Friday favorites and Happenings.
ONE. Last weekend when I was in Colorado, I bought the prettiest boots. We were shopping in Beaver Creek and went into an expensive Winter store. I immediately saw this boots and the price tag and walked away. We were looking at everything in the store and just admiring it all.
One of the people we were with wanted to try on some shoes, so we all waited with him. But this meant, I had to keep seeing the boots. So I figured I would try them on for fun. And so I did and I feel in love with them. They are so comfy, cozy and cute. Plus they are Sorel's, so you know they last FOREVER.
So I bought them. And when I showed them to friends back at the hotel, they wanted them and said that even though they are pricey, they will last forever.
Oh and now they are on sale on Sorel's website.
TWO. I saw someone post this Dyson Airwrap dupe and I want to know if any of you have used it. It has great reviews (99 5 Star Reviews) and it is so much cheaper than the Dyson. I really want the Dyson, but I am not paying that much.
I know there is a learning curve with these, so I feel better about this cost rather than the Dyson. But I also worry about ruining my hair if it is a cheap dupe.
So have you used it? Thoughts?
THREE. I mentioned in my What's Up Wednesday post that I was making shirts for the girls 100th day of school. Well on Wednesday night, we added the jewels to their shirts and now they are complete. They are wearing them to school this morning.
I got everything to make these shirts at Hobby Lobby. I got the shirts, the fabric glue, the puff paint and the jewels there.
They turned out so cute.
FOUR. I went to Trader Joes this week and I found a few festive Valentine's treats. I got the X & O Gummies and the Dark Chocolate Mini Heart Cookies.
The X & O Gummies are really good. They are shaped like X's, O's in red, pink and white/clear. They are very tasty, but I still think the Scandinavian Gummies are the best.
Did you try the Dark Chocolate Mint Christmas Stars? Well the hearts are very similar, but no mint to them. They are really good. I actually like these a bit more, but I think Rory will say he likes the mint ones more as he loves all things mint.
FIVE. Weekly funnies.
Have a great weekend. I am linking up with A Little Bit of Everything.
