Weekending

Happy Monday All! We had a pretty good weekend and I can't wait to recap it all for you, but first I have some news. No, I am not pregnant. Ha. I was really sad when Jess (from The Newly) was forced to stop blogging publicly due to a crazy woman basically stealing her life. That meant no more posts about fashion, shopping finds, her beautiful family or Confessional Thursday. After talking to Jess and getting her ok, Lynn (from Dispositive Motion) and I want to bring back Confessional Thursday. So we are going to start hosting it every Thursday. So grab the button below, write your confessions and come back to one of our pages and link up. I am so excited to be co-hosting my first link up and continuing on a beautiful tradition that Leslie Sisti (from A Blonde Ambition) started so long ago.

I can't wait for our first link up this Thursday!

Friday after work, we picked up the girls and headed to the mall to get Rory a shirt for family photos. But first we stopped for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Good thing they serve bread because Avery was hangry and needed food ASAP. We enjoyed our lunch and got Rory's shirt and were quickly home for the girls naps.

It rained all afternoon and evening, so we snuggled inside and built a fire. That evening I made lasagna, we drank some wine and relaxed.

Saturday morning we were up bright and early for family photos. We were worried about all the rain from the day before and it being overcast outside, but the pictures look great (from the sneak peak we got).

After photos, we headed to breakfast (second breakfast for the girls) and the girls were being so darling.

After a quick nap and some packing, we headed to my in-laws to drop the girls off for their first overnight trip. We got everything set up, gave them kisses goodbye and headed back home to get ready for the wedding we were attending.

The wedding was in a beautiful and big church. The vows were sooo soo sweet and we were happy to see the couple finally (after being together for almost 9 years) married. Then we all drove to the reception where we ate, drank, danced, did the photo booth and hung out with some amazing friends.
Our table and our song. We were called to get food based on when they played our song which was Frank Sinatra Fly Me To The Moon.

My dress was a hit at the wedding. Got sooo many compliments on it.
Me and one of my bests, Heather

Rory and I stayed the entire reception to send off the bride and groom and then made the short trek back home (less than a mile) to crash out.

Meanwhile, the girls played.

Sunday morning, we got ready, headed to breakfast and then picked up our little ladies. They were very happy to see us, but they had the best time at their grandparents house. And their grandparents sent us a text last night saying how much fun they had and that they missed them so much. Next time, they can do two overnights!

We came home, gave the girls a nap, did some housecleaning and then took a long walk. By that time, it was time for a bottle and a nap again. Avery slept like a rock, but Sutton wasn't having it. She was a grumpster for awhile after. But nothing some sunshine, dinner, a wagon ride and a bath couldn't fix.

We ordered in pizza (delivery from a new favorite pizza place), caught up on some shows and crashed early.

How was your weekend?

I am linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston today.
