Amazon Prime Purchases - December

Happy January 2022! I can't believe we are into a new year. And all the memes about this being 2020 too are too funny. Well, funny in the sense that let's hope that we are not repeating 2020.

I did not shop much on Prime last month. I got most of my shopping done in November and only really bought the essentials or random items. I bought a total of 5 items. Anyone else like me?

So what did we buy this last month?

At Home Covid Tests - 2 pack

Before anyone asks, no we didn't suspect covid in our household. We were just asked to take a covid test before going to a family dinner the day after Christmas...which was cancelled due to the weather (9 to 12 feet of snow in the Sierras).

We got this version instead of the ones at a CVS or Walgreens as we wanted to take it the day of the dinner just to be safe. We still have them since we didn't go to the dinner.

AM/PM Pill Organizer

This purchase makes me feel old. Ha. But I have been putting my vitamins out each night before work and I got tired of it. So now I put them in the AM side and Rory uses the PM side. Oh and each side pops out for travel.

Christmas Tree Bag - Up to 9 Feet

I have a 7 foot pencil tree that I bought last year and love. But last year after Christmas it was very difficult to stuff the tree into the box that it came in. So I grabbed this bag for ease of storing it in our garage. It fit perfectly.

100 Kids Masks

Sutton's teacher asked for some back-up masks for kids who forget theirs at recess, break theirs or run out of masks. I grabbed this 100 pack for her class.

64 Ornament Storage Box

I bought this exact one last year and love it. And I needed a new one for my ornaments for the pencil tree and any more that we get over the years. They are durable, you can arrange the ornaments how you like and make extra space for bigger ones.

What did you buy this last month? Was it it a lighter month for you as well?

  1. I like that ornament organizer better than how I have been doing mine for years. I keep saying I am going to get more organized each year, but when it comes time to put them away...I am just ready for it to be done!

    1. I am all for better organization when it comes to holiday decorations. I used to just put them in boxes, but this saves so much more room. Happy New Year!

    1. I am glad that I could help. I take too many vitamins and things each day to not have one anymore. I had no idea that it was like discovering gold. Maybe I should get more.

  5. The 100 mask pack is such a smart idea for a classroom. I heard the covid tests are hard to find, good that you have one in case you need it!

    1. I think I should get more of the covid tests just in case. And yes to the masks. Kids lose them so much.

  6. I love that ornament storage box; we keep ours in show boxes in a large tote but it's such a pain to fit all the little boxes back inside.

  8. We've been keeping Covid tests on hand for months now just in case. They definitely come in handy when one of the kids starts to feel bad. They're soooo hard to find right now, though. During Christmas Break, B was able to snag 2 boxes at a local CVS and we felt like we hit the jackpot.

    1. I feel like I should have gotten more of these. I would rather be able to test quickly and know if we need a PCR one too. It does feel like hitting the jackpot when you get one.

  10. It better to have a Covid test in hand then not. Appointments are very hard to get these days. We travelled during the holidays and we all took a covid test on return just to be sure.

    1. I totally agree and want to find more of them now. Feels like it would be a good idea. It is smart to test at home if you can.

  11. Looks like you got some really practical things this month! I find January and December are usually pretty low shopping months for me too - I buy most of the presents before then and I am too busy enjoying all my Christmas goodies to buy much in January! :)

Hope that the first week of 2022 is going well for you :)
