I love these posts so much. Well not my post necessarily, but reading others. I am always looking for new fun things to buy on Amazon and this always gives me ideas. I am sure my husband hates these posts since I shop them all the time, but they give me so many ideas!
So what did we buy on Amazon Prime in August? Not much. For the first time in a long time, I bought three items.

First, I bought more Shea Moisture Detangler. Yep, I bought it again. But this time was for the girls dance class. I have to perfect their bun after they have been at preschool all day and this stuff helps me brush their hair and get it up with ease.

Next, I bought some Thank You cards. I usually buy them at Target, but I wasn't going to Target that week, so I bought some on Amazon. I needed some Thank You notes to send to people for birthday gifts and these were cute, simple and well made. Plus I can use these for Thank You notes from the girls and Rory.

I have a love and hate relationship with fake eyelashes. I had extensions for a long time and I LOVED them. What I didn't love was the upkeep and price of the upkeep. So since I stopped doing those a year ago, I was looking at other options. I had purchased a new pair and eye glue at Sephora many months ago and there were awful. The glue hurt my eyes and I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes. It was painful.

After seeing a few reviews of magnetic eyelashes, I thought I would give them a try. I have used these twice since getting them (birthday and anniversary dinners) and they are super easy to put on, look good and don't bother my eyes at all.

What did you buy this last month on Amazon?

  2. I always enjoy these too! I've heard such great things about magnetic lashes but I feel like I would be horrible at trying to apply them lol

    1. I thought I would be, but they are super easy to do. Especially if you use the wand thing they come with.

    1. They do give you that little extra without looking super fake.

  4. I'm super intrigued about magnetic lashes! I keep wanting to buy, but I'm a makeup newb, and I'm pretty sure I'd fail at them! Are they easy enough for novices?

    1. They are super easy. I am not good at putting them on with the glue AT ALL, so I bought these. They are easy to use because you have that little tool to help you.

  5. OK - we need a video or a post on those lashes & how you put them on!!!!
I've heard of one person wearing magnetic lashes & she said they were heavy - are these weighty?

    1. If I can get my husband to film it, I will. Oh mine weren't heavy at all. I think it is because they are not a full length one. They sit on the outside of your lashes, so it wasn't heavy at all and super easy to put on.

    1. They are sooo easy to use since you have a top one and a bottom one and they "stick" together. And they don't weigh much at all.

  7. I can't do false lashes and I think I'd struggle with the magnetic ones too, haha! But these do look easy to use! Thanks for sharing!

Hope that your week is going well :)
