May's Amazon Prime Purchases

I didn't realize that last week was Amazon Prime purchases link up. I blame it on vacation. But I figured I would still share these this week since I love getting Amazon recommendations. What did we buy last month?

The girls needed new sleeping bags for our trip to Graeagle since we would be using their old ones at the dance recital. Well that and they were getting too big for their Melissa and Doug ones. After researching, we decided on the Teton ones. And after the girls using them for a week, we can say that they are total winners. I would definitely recommend them.

We also needed a new air mattress of some sort and after more research, I found that separate ones were going to be our best bet. These ones had amazing reviews on Amazon, but sadly, we haven't got to use them yet. We were supposed to for Memorial Day camping, but the weather wasn't in our favor. We still kept them and blew them up for a test run and they seem to be good. Now to use them.

I wanted fancier coffee at work, so I bought myself some vanilla syrup and then this frother which was recommended to me. This frother is awesome. I just put two batteries in it and it works every morning for my coffee at work. Now I have a coffee/latte and I am saving money. Well when I buy coffee beans for work. Ha.

The girls had their dance recital on Monday night and I needed those bun makers that you see everywhere. They are shaped like a donut and allow moms like me (aka not a hair stylist) to make the perfect bun. I bought this pack since it has several sizes in it and I wasn't sure which I needed for my girls. I used the smallest ones for them since they have fine and shorter hair like me. They worked perfectly.

I bought the girls their Shea Moisture spray again because I knew we would need more soon and I didn't want to run out while we were on vacation and their hair gets crazy from the wind, pool and what not.

I have been wanting some new forks for the girls since they had the ones made out of milk jugs and then some from Target, but they only come in packs with a spoon and a knife. I just wanted forks, so I ordered these. They work for the girls and are metal, but I am not sure how long they will use them since they are not as big as I thought they would be.

    1. They are the best. I don't know how I would put their hair up without one.

  4. I have never been able to use the bun makers. Maybe its because I was taught without one lol, but they are helpful for mamas.

    1. I think you are awesome if you don't need the donut bun makers. My girls need them and it gives them the cutest look. You need to come do my girls hair. Ha.

  5. I always want to try those donut bun hair thingies but I'm just not good with hair gadgets. Why I wear my hair straight - nothing fancy :)

    1. I had to use those a bunch of times before I got it. I want to try it in my hair when it is longer. So cute.

    1. Serena would love the spoons. They are amazing. The frother was a great purchase since I like my milk frothed.

  7. I have such a difficult time using those bun makers; my mother in law has bought me a few hair things like that but I guess I was pretty handy in high school and learned how to do so much with my hair that I actually find it easier without any of those tools. LOL.

    1. I wish I didn't need those tools, but I am just not good at hair quite yet. I am working on it. I need to relearn the french braid too.

  10. That mattress pad looks amazing! We're going to take the boys camping this year for the first time, and I think that would definitely make things more comfortable :)

    1. Oh you definitely need some mattress pads. They stay blown up whereas the blow up mattresses always deflate.
