TBB Asks - All About Love

It's time for the monthly TBB link up. This month's theme is All About Love. Grab the image below, answer the questions and link back up to The Blended Blog.
TBB - All about Love

1. Kisses or Hugs? I definitely prefer kisses more, but that is from my husband, my girls and my dog. Otherwise, I love giving and receiving hugs.

2. Candy or Flowers? Hmm, this one is hard because I do love candy (have ever since I was pregnant with the girls), but I love the fruity candies and dark chocolate sea salt caramels (yes I am specific). But I also love receiving flowers. It is better on my thighs, they smell heavenly and are just beautiful.

3. Baking or Cooking? I prefer to bake now that I have an awesome oven.

4. Do you remember your first kiss? I do. I was a freshman in high school and I got my first kiss from a guy named Vince. He was on the basketball team and I thought he was so hot.

5. Favorite color of Roses? I like classic red roses.

6. Conversation Hearts, yes or no? No. I used to like them, but the chalky flavor just doesn't do it for me.

7. Do you leave love notes? Only when Rory and I were first together. Maybe that is something we need to start doing again.

8. Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? I decorate a little bit. I get my decor from the Target dollar spot each year and put a few things up.

9. Red or Pink? Pink.

10. Milk, White or Dark Chocolate? Definitely dark chocolate.

11.  Do you believe in love at first sight? Not really, but I believe in lust at first sight.

12. Do you give Humorous or Serious Valentine Cards? I like humorous ones.

13. Favorite Chick Flick or Romantic Movie? Now this one is hard because I live for these movies. I love The Notebook, The Holiday, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 27 Dresses, Bride Wars, He's Just Not that Into You, Dirty Dancing and the list goes on and on.

14. Stay In or Go Out? For the longest time, I just stayed in. Even when Rory and I were dating, but then we started going out for it. Now that we have kids, we definitely go out for it, but we don't usually go on actual Valentine's Day. Just a day near Valentine's Day.

  6. It’s funny how you can appreciate going out a bit more now - we’re the same way! My favorite colors are red and pink so I kind of feel like this holiday was made for me. ;)

  7. I said the same thing as you about love at first sight. I totally forgot about Dirty Dancing when I was adding the million movies I love. That one is such a classic! We always stay in on vday and I make homemade lasagna. We hate crowds and I feel like everyone goes out the day of...or the weekend before or after. Nope, no thanks haha.

  8. Cute link up.
Our birthdays and Valentine's Day are within a week of each other so we usually combine everything together.
