Friday Favorites and Happenings

Happy Friday! We have a black tie wedding this weekend and I am very excited to dress up, have a weekend away from my girls (don't worry, I am missing them so much, but this is also a time to celebrate my anniversary since I am traveling for work during it.), see family and watch my cousin get married.

We have such a busy schedule lately that I am drowning in stress and keeping my schedule straight. BUT the girls start school Monday and I can't believe that Summer is over. Ugh.

Anyways, onto Friday favorites and Happenings.

ONE. Since I don't write weekend updates much anymore, I use Friday's to share some of our what we have been up to. And this is one of them.

Rory had a friend come into town last weekend, so it was just the girls and I on Saturday. I had something to return to American Eagle, so we set off to the mall. Yes, the mall on a weekend right before school starts. Ugh. It was packed, but my girls were amazing.

I returned a pair of shorts that I ordered online and had delivered to the store. I also bought another pair of my favorite shorts there (they are 60% off) and a tee that was also 60% off. Plus I had a birthday coupon to use, so I got these both for less than $25.

TWO. We stopped in Tilly's because they were having a sale and we grabbed the cutest tees for the girls. They can go with everything and they are on sale 2 for $12 (they are still on sale). I got the girls each a small as they are a bit longer and the medium was just too big on them.

Full Tilt Girls Baby Tee

THREE. We stopped in our local university store to look for something to add to my dads birthday gift and the girls immediately saw cheerleader outfits. They grabbed them in their correct size and begged to at least try them on. I gave in and they were so cute in them. They asked if they could get them, and I deferred to their dad. I sent Rory this picture and he said they are just too dang cute in them and to get them. They will wear them to the football games and tailgates that they attend with us.

Nevada Wolf Pack Cheerleader outfits

FOUR. We went to a birthday part on Saturday night at Coconut Bowl which is a place that has go-carts, games, mini golf, bowling, laser tag and a jungle gym/ball pit. The girls and I had a fun time playing video games together. I snapped this photo of them on the motorcycles and it was an instant flash into them driving cars later in life. Ugh.

Sutton got first place and Avery got 9th place.

Have a great weekend. I am linking up with A Little Bit of Everything.

  8. Omg your girls are so cute in their cheerleading outfits! I remember being that age and jumping around the house with a pom-pom (I think it was only one? Like, why did I only have one?? haha) my dad got for me at a hockey game. The Tupperware meme is too accurate, haha!
