Amazon Prime Purchases - June and a Little Update

*This post contains affiliate links. When you click a link, it is no cost to you and I make a small commission (pennies) from it. Thank you for supporting Sparkles and Lattes.

Happy Friday all! I haven't talked to many of you in so long. I have been recovering at home and it was a lot harder of a recovery than I thought it would be. I had plans to go on Instagram and talk about my surgery and how recovery was going, but that never happened. I had plans to write many posts while I was recovering, and that never happened.

To be honest, I have been tired, sore, and just wasn't feeling it. But believe me, I was all over Instagram everyday keeping up with you all. But now I am back...I am trying to write a post on my surgery, then one on my recovery, plus some Nordstrom Anniversary posts, a Graeagle vacation post and a few others. But I also missed about 3 weeks of work due to my vacation, my surgery and recovery and I have a lot to catch up on. So please bare with me.

Since I want to get my Amazon favorites post out, I thought I would do that today instead of on Monday. Enjoy!

Let's start with some repurchases...
Fairy Tales Detangler

This is our favorite detangler, but since it is not the school year, we use this every other day and another detangler in between. The smell on this one is amazing and it repels lice which let's be honest, is very much needed when your kids are in elementary school.

Melatonin

This is my favorite brand, flavor, dosage and kind of melatonin.

Stool Softener

Definitely not glamorous, but needed post surgery.

And now onto some new items...
Foot Peel Mask

I saw this on a Amazon Must Haves found on Tik Tok and wanted to try it. My feet get so dry and rough during the Summer. It comes in a two pack, so I used one in early Summer and I will use one post Summer. These really do work. I followed some reviews by cleaning my feet, using the masks by cutting a small hole for my feet and not the whole way. Leave on for an hour and then wash thoroughly. Then let your feet soak 5 to 10 minutes per day for 3 days and it flakes off like magic.

Bagel Guillotine

This was also on that page of Tik Tok finds. We eat a lot of bagels and have already used this three different weekends. This one cuts beautifully and quickly. Total must have.

Chi 1 1/4" Flat Iron

I had my previous Chi for 12 years. I only got a new one because the plates had some gouges in them that were pulling and damaging my hair. This one was on sale, had great reviews and allows me to adjust the temperature which my old one did not. So far I love it and use it almost daily.

Ruffwear Dog Collar

Walter's leather collar lost its ring for the leash, so we needed to order him a new one. To be honest, we had so much trouble with that leather collar that I am glad we got a new one. This one has an easy to open (for people) clasp, comes in four colors/designs (ours is sunset), has a place for a leash and dog tag. I got the 11 to 14 inch one.

Custom Dog Tag

Since we needed a new dog tag, I searched on Amazon and I am very happy with the tag. We got the trees, mountain, sun and water tag (says Jasper). It allows you to pick a font, color and size. We chose the small based on the sizing (how big your dog is). I was able to customize the back with whatever I wanted it to say. It came quickly and it very pretty.

Pretty Hands and Feet

I used to use this (but in a blue bottle) when I was growing up. I got it to help with the peeling of my feet after using those masks. Plus I can use it in between to keep my feet not so rough.

Supergoop! Face and Body Sunscreen Stick

I have used this before and while it is pricey, it works so well. Sutton was having problems with our other whole body sunscreen on her face while in Graeagle. Her face was chapped from the wind, sun and pool. I got this again and since using it (when she went to the pool and splash pad), it has helped keep her face protected and chap free.

That was it for our Amazon Prime orders in June. What did you purchase?

Have a great weekend. I am linking up with A Little Bit of Everything.

  4. Glad to see you back and to hear that you are easing back into everything. Isn't that one wonderful thing about blogging? You can take time off and pick it right back up later. My boys swear by melatonin and were out for a few days this past week. They were miserable without it.
