Friday Favorites

Another week has flown by. Not as fast as the weekends, but this week was actually a fast one. I am still catching up on sleep from the bachelorette weekend, but I feel like this has just been such a great week. This weekend we have a mermaid and pirate party to attend (for one of my twin moms kids) and then Sunday is Mother's Day. I have no idea what we are doing, but I hope I get to sleep in. Ha.

Onto Friday favorites...

ONE. This may sound weird, but this week we went out of our comfort zone and took our girls over to our friends house for dinner. My friend Nathalie was in town and since I was gone last weekend, we wanted to get together. She suggested dinner at her sisters house and I wasn't too sure on it. Usually we just have everyone over so the girls are comfortable and we can put them to bed when needed. But we decided to go over to their house and the girls did amazingly. They were well behaved, made everyone laugh and just a lot of fun to be around. Bonus: We went out to dinner with Nathalie and her husband on Wednesday night too.

TWO. PSA: Target has buy one, get one 50% off dresses. This offer goes through Saturday night. When I saw this deal, I went online right away and bought two dresses. I need more dresses for work and life (I noticed this when I got ready for our steakhouse dinner on Wednesday night). I am going to Target later today to buy some birthday gifts and other essentials, but my Target doesn't always have the styles I want. Here are the two dresses I scooped up.

THREE. I bought the cutest cardigan this week. I wear a lot of cardigans to work to cover up my sleeveless shirts. I was looking on Nordstrom for dresses for my sister for her wedding rehearsal evening and I came across Halogen cardigans. Right now, they have two colors on sale (a red and lighter blue), but they have 11 other colors at regular price. The cardigans get really great reviews, so I bit the bullet and bought one. I hope it works for me. The reviews said to size down, so I got a extra small.

FOUR. Next week is our monthly link up for Girl Chat. This month's topic is Day in the Life. I love reading these posts. I took photos all day yesterday to try to capture my day. I think I did a pretty good job, but definitely forgot to take photos of some things.
