This week I am linking up with Karli.
One. I have been really getting into Fall tv this year. I may get weeks behind because I have two little ones, but I binged watched Fargo season 1 and loved it. Now I am watching season 2 and I am loving it as well. I am an episode behind, but it has been really good. It goes back to before season 1 and explains so much. And it breaks my heart knowing that someone dies and every time she comes on screen you wonder when it will happen. Sorry for being so vague, but I don't want to ruin it for those that haven't watched it.
I am also loving American Horror Story. It has been pretty gruesome, but I am actually digging Lady Gaga in this. So creepy. And I am in the last episode of season 1 of The Affair. Another show that I am really liking. I didn't know if I would like the telling the story from different perspectives, but it has gotten better as the stories don't match up. Who killed Scotty? (don't tell me if you know). Plus it has Joshua Jackson and that brings me back to my Pacey days in Dawson's Creek. He's so hot. Shh don't tell my husband.
I am still watching Grey's Anatomy (though I am not liking this season that much and think it is time they throw in the towel). Any other shows you suggest I watch?
Two. I had an amazing girls night on Tuesday night. We went to a local wine bar, played bingo, ate tacos, chatted and of course, drank wine. It was so much fun to catch up with my favorite ladies. And as always, I can't wait for the next one.
Three. This has been some big news in the Reno area, but we are FINALLY getting a Chick-fil-A. I am not a big fast food fan, but for some reason, I can't get enough of Chick-fil-A. They have it all and it always tastes so good. I am sure it will be like when In-n-Out came here and I will get it, but not as often as I thought I would. But I am still excited!
Four. I finally got back my test results from the biopsies on my moles. The one on the left side of my abdomen that had to be cut out had some abnormal cells, but they got it all out (including some good cells) and things are just fine with that one. The one of the right side of my abdomen was just a benign growth (benign = no cancer). The one on my upper back came back very abnormal which means I need to go back in and have surgery on it. They need to cut out even more and get it all out. I am very bummed on this. This one has been infected and won't heal and now this. So please think positive thoughts for me and they get it all out. I will keep you all posted on when they take it out and the results of that one.
And as a reminder, please get your skin checked out. We were all young and sometimes dumb and didn't wear enough or any sunscreen. Protect yourself and your family and get your skin checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.
Five. I am going to talk football here for a second. It has been tough to watch the 49ers this year. I have been a long time fan (I am talking since I was 3 years old) and it is awful to watch this team and organization burn in flames. No one rally's behind Kaepernick, the offensive line is horrendous (seriously atrocious), the ownership sucks (looking at you Jed York. Please LEAVE.), the GM, Baalke, makes the worst decisions and needs to be fired ASAP, we make stupid trades (Vernon Davis for a 7th round draft pick...hello, trade for Virgil Green.), so we might as well take a torch and burn this season down because the Niners SUCK this year. (so upset about this).
At least the Wolf Pack won last night. It was an ugly win, but a win regardless.
And I am done.
So sorry to hear about your surgery! I'll be thinking of you. I'm enjoying Fargo too. I didn't get too into last season but my husband did. We watch Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder too!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Oh I have heard How to Get Away with Murder is really good. I haven't seen Scandal yet either. Hope you had a good weekend.
