Cantaloupe, Basil and Berry Juice Recipe (by Nourish and Inspire Me)

Cantaloupe, Basil and Berry Juice via Nourish and Inspire Me
I am always searching for new drinks and smoothies and when I saw this on a friend's blog, I knew this was right up my alley.  I pretty much love everything cantaloupe...smoothies, cantaloupe boba tea, martinis (made with fresh cantaloupe), the fruit by itself and even the cantaloupe jelly bellies.
This drink would be perfect on a hot summer day (now summer, please get here asap) or heck anytime of the year if you can get fresh ripe cantaloupes.

Serves: 2     Cuisine: Drink
  •  Half a Cantaloupe
  • 1 Handful Basil Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries
  • 1 cup Ice
  1. Juice the cantaloupe in a pressed juicer.
  2. Add cantaloupe juice to a blender with basil, ice and berries until smooth
  3. Serve immediately.
Doesn't this look amazing?  I can't wait to try it.  And if you are a lush fun like me, you can add some rum or vodka for an adult summery beverage.  I plan to do it both ways (that's what she said).

  1. Love this recipe and cannot wait to try. I also try new juices. Juices are really very healthy drinks. The benefits of the berry are seen in the form of strengthened immune system of the consumer and helps you fight germs and diseases better. I usually take goji berry juice.
