Kids Christmas Gift Ideas

So I am a little late getting my Christmas gift guides out, but I have been raking my brain on most of these. For kids, it wasn't that hard as my girls went crazy circling items in the Amazon and Target catalogs. But for women and men, it was more difficult since we are living in different times. Things that I normally would want, are not being used right now, so it is a little more difficult shopping for men and women this year.

BUT I did get my kids Christmas gift guide ready. Some of these items my girls already have and others are on their wish list. The items that they don't have have been purchased and are hiding away.

Kids Christmas Gift Ideas

ONE.

Fort Builder Kit

Fort Builder Kit

My kids love to build forts, but we often don't have enough chairs or things to build with. So this kit solves the problem. They only have to add blankets over it. I got the kit with 120 pieces.

TWO.

Adidas Superstar Kids Sneakers

I used to love the old school Adidas sneakers when I was growing up. And of course the girls feet are always growing, so we got them each a pair of these old school sneakers!

THREE.

Kinetic Sand Bake Shoppe

My girls love playing with Kinetic Sand. We just have bags of it, but after visiting their cousins, they wanted a kit. This one seems really cute and they love helping me bake recently.

FOUR.

Melissa and Doug Art Easel

This art easel is still very popular in our house. I got it for the girls in 2016 and they still regularly use it.

FIVE.

American Girl Doll

I said I wouldn't give into the American Girl doll craze and here we are. I am ordering the girls each a doll this year. They got ahold of a catalog sent to us in the mail and they are obsessed. Fun fact...when I was picking out their dolls, I was browsing the accessories. They have an old school VW Van Wagon for $650 on there. Ugh. That is insane.

SIX.

Monopology Junior

I loved playing Monopoly as a kid. When Nadine posted that she was getting Zoe an unicorn version of this game, I went looking at options for the girls. I ended up going with the classic junior version.

SEVEN.

Melissa and Doug Floor Solar System Puzzle

This is another gift the girls received in 2018. A floor puzzle with the solar system. The girls learned all their planets this way and when it came time to re-learn them in school, they were already ahead. This puzzle is 48 pieces and fun to put together.

EIGHT.

Frozen Sequins Jacket

My girls are still obsessed with Frozen. They saw a similar jacket in Target, so I knew this one would be a hit. I got it on sale from the Disney store. And it is still on sale for $25.

NINE.

Crate and Barrel Teepee

My girls have this teepee in another design (not available) and they love it. They play in it almost daily. They love watching movies in there together on their Amazon Kids Fires too. We have the pillow pad for inside too.

TEN.

Pottery Barn Lounge Pillow

I did not get the girls this exact lounge pillow, but I got one very similar. The girls are always saying how they want a pillow to lay against in the living room. This is perfect for the living room, their beds, their floor, etc.

ELEVEN.

Princess Tea Set

The girls have had tin tea sets before, but they have been asking for a real set that they can use water in it. I am getting them a real porcelain set and one that they can just play with whenever.

What is on your kids Christmas lists?

  3. I just ordered that solar system puzzle through your link. Zoe is obsessed with the moon and the stars, and I would like to do a few space themed lessons with her. That puzzle would be perfect! There are so many monopoly junior games! Zoe asked for the unicorn one, but then she saw the princess one and was like oh I want to put that on my list too! I explained to her that it is the exact same game, and that once you tell Santa something...there are no take backs. LOL. Love that tea set! We have an easel and floor pillow like that, both are regularly used.

    1. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. The girls love that puzzle still. We put it together weekly. Haha. I have had to tell the girls things like that too. It is funny how they want EVERYTHING. We definitely use all the things that I put on here that the girls already have!

    1. I felt the same way. It is soooo pretty and fun, but that price is ouch! I didn't want to give in, but the girls are really wanting it. And we got another catalog in the mail and they circled everything in it as well.

  8. These are such great ideas! We're kind of on the fence about gifts this year. We usually gift experiences vs. things, but with so many things up in the air with COVID, it's tricky. I think we're going to gift them some travel gear for our big move next year though!

    1. I love gifting experiences too. That is why we took the girls to Disneyland last year. It was all about the experience. That was the majority of their Christmas and birthday gifts. But this year we are stumped too because everything is shut down. I can't wait to hear where you guys are going!
