Spring-esque Nails

I don't have much to say today...mostly because I feel like my chest is going to explode from this killer heartburn I have going on.  But I do want to show you all my lovely new spring-esque/Easter nails the lovely Lauren did last night.

I absolutely love getting my nails done, but I need to do it otherwise I tend to bite my nails which isn't attractive.

Cheers to Spring

In honor of the first day of Spring, I am showing you my new Spring-ish nails.  If you know me, you know I love mint and I think mint is the perfect color for Spring.  So without further ado...

I love everything about these: mint, gold, chevron and glitter.  What more could a girl ask for in a manicure?

New Year's Nails

A holiday wouldn't be complete until I showed you all my New Year's nails.  I got them done on Monday, just in time for New Year's Eve.  I wanted something fun, sparkly, would last a few weeks and would make sense going into January.  I think they are perfect and full of sparkle (which I love).

Christmas Nails

It is that time again...for Christmas nails.  Yes I got my nails done AGAIN (I get them done every two to three weeks) and this time we went for a Christmas theme.  I am super happy with how they turned out.  Lauren is simply amazing and you must go see her if you live/work/visit the Reno/Tahoe area.

 

I am obsessed with the gradient glitter she used on my thumb and middle finger.  I can see myself using variations of it ALL THE TIME.

Festive Holiday Nails

It's no secret that I love getting my nails done.  I love change (mostly).  Lauren (facebook here) has been doing my nails for at least 8 or 9 years now.  I can't believe it has been that long.  When I first started seeing her, I would get simple pink and whites, but I got bored of that, and wanted to paint or gel my nails every possible color.

Lately, I have turned to Pinterest for all my inspiration.  Sometimes she copies one, sometimes she adds her own flare and sometimes we pick something completely new.  Tuesday night we picked something from Pinterest and I think she did an even better job than the Pinterest version, but I am probably biased.
